It is sad new we are afraid, the Humpday race series will be on hold for the unforeseen future!
The Canal & Rivers trust have implemented a new event permitting system with additional costs to events.
The permit application is £95.00 (to make the application)
Then an additional charge £1.50 per participant, this isn't for the number who actually attend it is charged on what we forecast and again none refundable!!
We hope that over the next few months this will change and as and when it does we will be back with the Humday Races.

In line with current ARC recommendations on health and safety, iPods and MP3 Players should not be worn whilst racing, the exception to this rule is where participants use bone conductive headphones with no obstruction to hearing.
