The Couch to 5k is a 9 week course finishing with a 5k race at the end, we meet every Monday evening from 6:00 for a 6.15 pm start, the sessions last approximately 40 minutes and vary from week to week.
You will need to do a further two sessions each week in your own time, these could be done on a Wednesday/Thursday or a Friday/Saturday thats up to you. (see schedule below)
Each session will start with a simple guided warm up and stretch, then into a run/walk program, finishing with a gentle cool down and stretch... The sessions are run by Wane Law a UK Athletics Fell Running Coach, and assisted by UKA Run Leaders.

For your first session please bring along a small water bottle and don't worry too much about footwear, just training shoes of some description (we can chat about this stuff on the night)
We charge £2.00 per session, this includes 1 weekly coaching session and a T-shirt, (week 6) as well as entry into the Brighouse 5k.
