Welcome to the Descent 10k - fast, exciting… its a road and it’s downhill all the way.
A beautiful and scenic course that takes you from the top of Scammondon to the finish in West Vale, over 300 metres below.
Our speedy downhill course is well marked and chip timed. It’s perfect for runners of all levels, whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time racer.
Registration is between 18:00 to 18:50. We then jump on the bus at 19:00 to take us to the start, start as soon as we reach the top … then run back down the hill.
